Setting Up the HRIS Sync

There are many HR information systems (HRIS) that will connect to CultureBot. We partner with Merge to provide a secure connection.

If you're looking to integrate your HRIS to CultureBot, please first email us at support@getculturebot.com. We'll turn on your ability to use the HRIS sync.

Once you have access to the HRIS sync page in your CultureBot web app, you can click the blue "Connect to HRIS" button to get started. Please note that you may need IT support to locate specific tokens or keys to complete the integration process.

You'll be prompted to find your HRIS in the available systems merge can connect with. From there, you'll be prompted to follow instructions specific to your HRIS's needs to integrate with Merge.

After integrating, CultureBot will automatically update birthdays and anniversaries (every 24 hrs) for all employees that also have a Slack account (matching to their email).

After the initial sync, you will see a table below the blue Connect to HRIS button listing out any employees whose information was updated/created on a daily basis.
