How to Give Points Manually to a Team Member

In addition to points earned through shoutouts, CultureBot allows admins to manually award points to employees. This is helpful for special recognition moments, milestone rewards, or correcting missed points.

This guide explains how to give points manually, how employees are notified, and where to view point balances.

What Are Manual Points?

Manual points let admins:

  • Award points without sending a shoutout
  • Recognize work that happens outside normal workflows
  • Grant points to one or multiple employees at once
  • Add points directly to an employee’s redeemable balance

Manually awarded points behave just like shoutout points: they count toward totals, leaderboards, and rewards.
